I cannot download any timetables on my Sony Ericsson T616?
|
|
A number of users have reported issues with some Sony Ericsson devices specifically the T616. We have researched this issue and recommend the follow procedure:
1. Contact your mobile phone service provider (e.g. Optus, Telstra, Vodafone) and validate the WAP and Data Comms. configuration settings on your phone. This should always be your first call as many mobile phone operators have their own unique configuration settings
2. Try using the Sony Ericsson WAP Configurator from the browser on your mobile phone here http://wap.sonyericsson.com or from your PCs browser here Sony Ericsson Product Support
3. Disable Data Compression and Header Compression from the WAP Data Account Settings on your phone - from the T616 Main Menu, Select -> Connect -> Data Comm. -> Data Accounts -> Select your WAP data account (refer to your mobile phone provider) -> Edit -> Advanced Settings -> Data Compression=off, Header Compr.=off
